Register your player at their current grade level, we will contact you with information and details for evaluations 🥎 New this year - EVALUATIONS - We will be holding evaluation sessions for players who want to be considered to “play up”. This is primarily for players in grades 2, 4 & 6. If your player would like to be considered, they must attend an evaluation on APRIL 1, 2, 3rd at Bialek Park 🥎After evaluations, coaches and ITS Board members will determine teams 🥎Teams will be determined by skill levels, position players, safety concerns and other factors 🥎 Player requests for a specific team, coach, or with another player will be taken into consideration secondary, but there are no guarantees! 🥎If a player is not selected for the higher level team, there is always an opportunity to "play up" during the season 🥎Everyone who attends the evaluation will be on a considered player list, if the need arises FARM DIVISION - Grades 3 & 4 (*2nd grade with evaluation*) At this level, everyone plays regardless of skill level. This is a great environment to learn about softball and play in fun, travel games. Coaches may be involved on the field, and may pitch as needed. Pre-season clinics are included in registration and help players get to know their teammates and coaches. JUNIOR DIVISION - Grades 5 & 6 (*4th grade with evaluation*) At this level, players will be pitching and catching. New rules and skills will be learned such as in-field fly rule, dropped third strike, stealing and bunting. There is an increase in competition, but also a focus on development. All teams at this level will participate in play-offs mid June, A/B brackets to be determined by the ECWSL and end of season standings. Pre-season clinics are strongly recommended for all and included in the registration fee. SENIOR DIVISION - Grades 7 & 8 (*6th grade with evaluation*) At this level, all of the skills and drills come together, as well as continuous walks, unlimited stealing, bunting, in-field fly rule, dropped third strike, and a higher level of commitment. Coaches will work to develop players who are ready for high school softball. All teams at this level will participate in play-offs mid June, A/B Brackets to be determined by the ECWSL and end of season standings. Pre-season clinics are strongly recommended for all and included in the registration fee.
