Do you accommodate those that play multiple sports or other activities?

Yes! Our games are typically played Monday – Friday at 6:00 p.m.  As with other sports, the higher level of play, the higher level of commitment we ask.  There will be an occasional weekend game or practice.  With that we take into consideration school trips/functions/activities.  Be sure to talk with your coach regularly about scheduling conflicts. 

What is the difference between the different levels of play?
USA Softball's "U" levels (like 10U, 12U, 18U) denote age divisions, meaning "Under" that age by a specific cutoff (USA Softball is September 1st of the previous year), with competitive levels further split into Class A (highest), B, and C for travel play.

When will we know the game schedule?

We won’t know our game schedules until mid-April. Since we are a travel program, games can’t be scheduled until registration is over, and we submit our teams to the league scheduler.

When will we know who the coach is?
Our coaches are typically parent volunteers/board members, so during the registration process please submit interest and an ITS Board member will follow up about availability and next steps.

When will we know the practice schedule?
Practices are scheduled at the head coach’s discretion. Games are played Monday – Friday so most coaches try to have at least one set practice during the week. Some will practice on the weekends. Please communicate with your coach if there are any conflicts with the schedule.

What if my interested player doesn’t have any experience?
We encourage players with all abilities to play! They can try one of our clinics to see if they might be interested before registering for the season. Spring clinics are usually held late February through early/late March. Please reach out to us at [email protected] for details. 

When will teams be chosen and how?
Teams will be determined by the second week of April. Depending on number of registered players, two teams may be rostered per level.  Players will be divided according to ability, skill, safety concerns and other factors. Players will be evaluated during spring clinics to determine if a player is ready to "play up" a level.  After clinics have finished, coaches and ITS Board Members will determine teams and decide if any players are ready to play up. 

Can I request a certain team or being with a specific friend?
Player requests for a specific team, coach or with another player will be taken into consideration secondary, but there are no guarantees. There will be no changes or refunds once teams are set.
